The Texas Section SRM has an annual meeting that offers a training event for NRCS and County Agent professionals to learn the latest information on rangelands as well as a program for all our members to hear the latest scientific information pertaining to rangeland management. The meeting also offers graduate and under graduate students the opportunity to compete in Plant ID, URME, Don Pendleton presentation, and East Foundation 3MT® contests. The TSSRM also sponsors several natural resource field days during the year. This summer we will be hosting our 64th annual Youth Range Workshop. TheYouth Range Workshop is our flagship educational opportunityfor youth, age 14-18, to participate in this week-long, hands-on workshop. Participants are exposed to actual land management practices and decisions through field trips to ranches and a wildlife management area.
